The Angels Have Landed!

Last night I hot footed my way to Bond Street for Vogue's Fashion's Night Out. Of course this event was taking place all over London with over 100 different stores taking part, offering free drinks, goody bags, discounts, music, and demo's. We decided to go to Bond Street as I also wanted to go into the newly opened Victoria's Secret store. I love Victoria's Secret, I watch their fashion show every year and have always wished they would come to the UK and finally my prayers were answered. I squealed when the colossal store came into my sight, with 4 levels this really is underwear heaven! The ground floor is all decked out in high gloss black with huge glam chandeliers.

There were shelves choc full of Victoria's Secret make-up and fragrance.

There are some of the outfits worn by the Angels at the 2011 fashion show dotted around the store, and huge pictures of the Angels on the walls.

More make-up and fragrance on the 1st floor that is all this high gloss pink, it looks amazing and I would love to recreate this as a dressing room if money were no object!

The underwear was stunning, there really is something for everyone whether you want casual and comfy or super sexy, and the basement is dedicated to lounge wear, with lovely sweatshirts, t shirts and a little selection of work out wear.

Anyway back the rest of the evening, we visited House Of Fraser. It was very busy in there as they had 2 fancy bars set up offering beautiful looking cocktails some of which were in coconuts and lots of loud music. It was a great environment to shop in, and dare I say actually puts you in the mood to spend money, however I managed to resist!

We also admired the gorgeous t shirts in Pull and Bear, where they were also drumming up the party atmosphere with a DJ and bar, Uniqlo were serving free wine whilst you perused their collections and had Orla Keily there doing autographs. We had a rather long look around Aldo at lots of gorgeous shoes, they were offering 10% off for the night and also had lots of jewellery on buy one get one free. I fell in love with many items from Mango and may have felt like whimpering a little when at 10pm were informed that they were closing. If you are in the market for long dip hemmed skirts, or beautiful silk shorts then Mango is the place to go!

It was a great night, and we didn't even get to see half of what there was on offer in Bond Street alone, so if you are not just in the mood for seeing where the evening takes you, you would need to plan your route. We had hoped we would get to visit Covent Garden but the time just seemed to vanish. Ah well there is always next year!
